- Leon Minkoff left his brother’s General Contracting/Restoration Business to pursue fulltime development.
- Built first two industrial buildings totaling 153,000 SF at the corner of Southard and Bacon Drive in Beltsville, MD.
- Bought first parcels of land in Montgomery County to build what would become Shady Grove Development Park.
- Developed/built two more industrial buildings totaling 87,000 SF in Beltsville, MD off Sunnyside Avenue.
- Bought 156 acres in Germantown in what would become Seneca Meadows Corporate Center.
- Developed first retail project anchored by Wegmans Food Market – the Shops at Seneca Meadows.
- Paul Chod joined as the company’s third employee. Brought years of structural engineering experience to ensure buildings were constructed to look great, last forever, wear like iron, and cost as little as possible.
- Finished Shady Grove Development Park, which now includes 11 buildings in over 745,000 SF.
- Built phases 1-3 of Seneca Meadows: 10 buildings in over 650,000 SF.
- Third generation of the family (Bradley and Andrew) promoted to leadership as Co-Presidents.
- Acquired five buildings at Avion Business Park in Chantilly, VA – a flex-office park just south of Dulles Airport.
- Began partnership with GlenLine Investments to expand upon strategy of owning and operating infill industrial projects.
